About me

Lace Veiled Woman Lieblings.jpeg

Stamp collecting awakened me to German culture when on an Alexander von Humboldt fellowship in 2010. Since, I've cherished and framed and invested in learning about these petite depictions of a culture's self-descriptions — commemorating what the age finds significant, beautiful, praise-worthy, honorable. We are living in an era that could mark one of the final generations with ubiquitous stamps. I hope this international tradition of art/history/culture-honoring is not lost. In the meantime, may we celebrate what others loved and acknowledged in earlier years.
I am a mother to Bingitt, a wife to Nathaniel, the CEO of 60Hertz, and a seeker of small delights.
